GRANT KOLKOW

Senior Pastor

Our pastor is Grant Kolkow.  He and his beautiful spouse Linda have been married for thirty-five years.  They are blessed with six grown children, three sons-in-law, two daughters-in-law, and fourteen grandchildren.
At the age of seven, God graciously enabled Grant to understand his sinfulness, the importance of the cross, and the need for personal repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.  This occurred while reading from a children’s Bible storybook.  At the age of ten, he was baptized by immersion.  Although his childhood and adolescent years were blessed, but marked with instability, God continued to prove His faithfulness to him by increasing his knowledge of the importance of Christ and His Holy Scripture.  At the age of 23, he responded to God’s call to vocational ministry.  He received my ordination for ministry from Takilma Bible Church (affiliated with American Missionary Fellowship, now known as InFaith), located outside of Cave Junction, Oregon.
His educational back-ground includes an A.S. degree in general business and a B.S. degree in theological studies.  Also, he was blessed to receive his Masters of Divinity (2003) and Doctor of Ministry (2013) in expository preaching from the Master’s Seminary.  Besides his twenty-five years of pastoral experience in Oregon, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado, he has also served in chaplaincy in detention and business settings and teaches a course at Jackson Hole Bible College. He loves to read (particularly theology and the Puritans), wrestle with his grandchildren, and play any game he wins.
